“To play without passion is inexcusable!” - Beethoven

Welcome to my Studio website.

I have been a piano teacher for over 35 years.  I enjoy teaching and helping others, especially youth learn about music.

I have lived in Longmont for over 21 years, and in California before that.  In May 2012, I completed a Master of Music degree in piano performance at the University of Colorado, Boulder, studying with Dr. Andrew Cooperstock.  I received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from California State University, Northridge, studying with Francoise Regnat.  I am a member of BAMTA (Boulder Area Music Teachers' Association), CSMTA (Colorado State Music Teachers' Association) and MTNA.

I also enjoy choral accompanying, theatrical accompanying, and playing the organ.  I've studied banjo, voice and drums, and I enjoy music of many genres.  Currently, I sing and accompany in the vocal groups Take Note and Sacred Groove. In August 2016, I will be the accompanist for Skyline High School Vocal department.  I have five children and five grandchildren.

Please contact me for information about studio openings and policies.  I look forward to hear from you.
